GameBeats — Spotify Automation for Gamers

GameBeats automatically controls your Spotify music based on whatever game or app you're running. No manual switching, no alt-tabbing.

Core Features

• App Detection — Add any game/app by its .exe. GameBeats detects when it's running and starts music automatically.
• Smart Playlist Matching — Searches Spotify for playlists suited to your game, or you can set a custom search query or a specific playlist.
• Two Playback Modes:
  • Anti-Boredom Mode — Music plays when the game audio is quiet, pauses when things get loud.
  • Seamless Mode — Music runs continuously regardless of in-game audio.
• Puppy Overlay — Optional on-screen mascot that appears while music is playing.

Setup (Quick Version)

1. Install the official Spotify desktop app (Microsoft Store version won't work)
2. Launch GameBeats → click Login to Spotify → sign in with the same account active on Spotify desktop
3. Keep the login helper window open — closing it breaks the connection
4. Add games via the Games tab using the actual .exe file (shortcuts won't work)
5. Launch your game — GameBeats handles the rest
